Dear Mr. Blackburn,

On behalf of the Marianist Province of the United States, I want to offer our heartfelt thanks to you and the Knights of Columbus for the chalice given in memory of Sir Knight Eugene A. Effinger. His wife, Liz, delivered it to us a couple of days ago. It happened that the Superior of Marianist District of India was here in St. Louis for a meeting. He will carry the chalice back to India with him, and it will be used in one of our mission communities there. You can be sure that we will not only remember the Effinger Family but the Knights of Columbus as will. Thank you!
