Brother Sir Knights,
The Exemplification of the Fourth Degree will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008,
at the St. Louis Airport Marriott Hotel. Our Honoree will be Monsignor Henry Breier.
The St. Louis Assembly has 47 candidates and counting. There is still time for more of your candidates to receive their degree. Remember, there is only one Exemplification per year in St. Louis. Please call Stan Mengwasser, our Class Chairman at 314-268-1671 with additional candidates, and he will get them on their way for their Patriot Degree.
Stan Mengwasser also said donations for the support of the hospitality suite have been slow. Please check with your Council for their support. Stanley Jackson, Grand Knight of
Bishop Council, will be handling the room and he could use some help.
The Ladies Auxiliaries will be holding their Annual Luncheon at 12:30 PM. Please make reservation with Donna Marcus, 980 Rodanna Drive, Fenton, Mo. 63026, 636-343-8814.
This is always an enjoyable affair at the Marriott with entertainment for the ladies. Cost is $16.50 per ticket.
Our Fourth Degree Ladies Auxiliary is hosting their Annual Trivia Night on Saturday,
April 12, 2008, 7:PM. It will be at the Shrewsbury Community Center located at 5200 Shrewsbury Avenue. Call Mary Smith 314-832-4603 for information and reservations.
We, as Sir Knights, must support our Ladies Auxiliary in this effort. The proceeds will be
given to The Fisher House Foundation to benefit the families of our veterans in time of need.
At our May meeting there will be election of Officers. Anyone wishing to run for an office please contact Tony Braun, Past State Deputy, who has agreed to be our Nominating
Chairman. Installation of officers for the coming year will be Sunday, June 22, at the
Cardinal Rigali Center, with 5:00 PM Mass and Dinner.
Thanks to the Sir Knights who barbecued for the Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics
at Creve Coeur Lake last Saturday. It was a success and raised $17,500.00.
Our next meeting will be March 12, and the Ladies Auxiliary will meet in John Lally room on the first floor. Corned Beef sandwiches will be available after meeting.
I will see you on March 8, at the Exemplification at the Marriott. The Honor Guard will
dress out and report by 11:00 Am.
