Worthy Sir Knights,
It is indeed an honor and a privilege to be re-elected as Faithful Navigator
of the largest and greatest Assembly in our Order for the Fraternal year
and I thank you for your continued support.
I want to thank Reverend John J. Borcic, a long time member of the Assembly,
for accepting the position of Faithful Friar of our Assembly and look forward to his
prayers and leadership in the coming years.
As we begin this year, I hope you share my enthusiasm for the upcoming Patriotic
Programing that the Assembly has planned. At this time I wish to announce the Chairmen
who will be responsible for conducting these programs and ask that you lend them your
assistance:

During the month of June, we had a special event. On June 14, Flag Day,
the Assembly hosted a flag retirement ceremony with the Monarch Fire
Protection District. Some 200 Flags were retired with dignity.
Rick Schmidt and other Honor Guard members were in attendance. I would
like to thank Rick and his members that took an active part in this affair.
Please mark your calendar and plan to attend the Honor Guard picnic to be held
July 29 at 12:00 noon at Santa Maria Council, 4091 Mount Olive, St. Louis 63125.
All are asked to bring a salad, vegetable, or dessert. The Honor Guard will provide the
meat and drinks. Please contact Bill Hartmann or his wife Geri for reservations at
